Showing off SlideShare presentations can make your company look very impressive, whether its your own presentations, or professional slideshows that represent your industry.  Either way, it makes your company stand out, and look good.

And now embedding SlideShare presentations is as easy as 1-2-3, thanks to the help of a very simple and powerful WordPress plugin found in the WordPress plugin repository.

1) We need to download Yoasts SlideShare WordPress Plugin.

2) Install the plugin just like you do with any other WordPress plugin – I prefer to download plugins, and then upload them into my WordPress install as zip files, but searching in the dashboard for “slideshare” should find his plugin, and click “install” from the dashboard.

3) After that, we go to the SlideShare settings in your dashboard, and there is only one (1) setting to be made, and that’s the default width of your posts.

4) Click save, and go to the SlideShare presentation page that you want to embed.

5) Click on “Embed”

6) Then click “Customize”

7) Customize the settings that you require.

Copy the WordPress.com shortcode

9) Insert the shortcode you just copied into the “visual” tab of your post.

10) Save, and view.
