If you’re like most SEO consultants, you live on your laptop. It’s your constant companion, and you may scarcely notice that it is gradually slowing down, growing old, and becoming outdated and inefficient.

I recently bought a new laptop, and I was amazed at how much faster it was than my three-year-old laptop. It is easy to forget that laptop PCs are only designed to last two or three years.

That is especially true for laptops.

You can almost always work more efficiently on a good new laptop with plenty of RAM and the latest accessories. It is not worth struggling with an even slightly outdated or underpowered setup. Good equipment pays off.

So if work seems to take longer and longer, maybe it’s time to take a break and update your working tools, especially if you are an SEO consultant and the more work you get done, the more money you make. Wisely upgrading your computer setup will almost always pay for itself pretty quickly.
